Taajuu Re-launches!

11 January 2026 Update - Yahlnaaw

With a new brand, energy, logo, and team (in the making), Taajuu Consulting re-launches 4 years after her establishment. You’ll notice a lot of changes over the next year - including how we locate ourselves in our work. I am envisioning Taajuu as something that is fully shaped & propelled forward by family & community, is open to new consultants joining us in various capacities depending on what is happening in this world (message us if you’d like to connect!), and flips colonial notions of professionalism upside down.

I am most excited about our new logo - designed by my sister, Gidhlahl-Gudsllaay / Robyn Grant. I told her about Taajuu’s rebrand early in 2025 & on my birthday in May, she surprised me with what she thought needed to be encompassed in Taajuu’s new vision - reminding us to not forget about our Ancestral knowledges and teachings while fighting the chaos colonization has brought us.

Beyond Our Guiding Principles - Haida Rules For Living, I am still in reflection of what Taajuu’s new values could look like. I am thinking a lot about transparency, lateral violence, love, community care, and weaponizing community… Taajuu works on many lands with many peoples & I have come to see patterns of love & harm within Indigenous & 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. I think the first step in tackling anti-oppression/decolonization work that goes beyond the surface is healing within oppressed/colonized communities first. A part of our re-brand is offering equitable rates to BIPOC/2SLGBTQIA+ organizations who do not have a designated budget for anti-oppression/decolonization work.
